In an act of ritualistic cleansing, the Sea Nymph pours onto herself the mystical waters of the ocean’s tides. The salty potion flows forth from an earthen pitcher, cascading through her hair and glazing her serpentine form. Calling upon the purifying and regenerative properties of the ancient waters, she performs this healing ritual to cleanse her mind, body, and spirit, washing away the grime of grief and pain. Shedding the weight of that which sought to pull her down, the Sea Nymph emerges anew, re-empowered and reunited with her own power, as mighty and eternal as the ocean’s waves.

Water is the blood of the earth, flowing and pulsing through the veins and arteries of the land and pooling in vast oceans. The Sea Nymph is original artwork, hand drawn and screenprinted by Adrienne Rozzi. 

- Printed with black ink on upcycled leather. Each piece of leather exhibits a unique raw edge at the bottom which has been hand painted to look sea-worn and aged.

- Moulding remnants have been upcycled to create the frame from which each banner hangs. Most of the frames are pointed and one is straight across. See photos.

- The thickness of the moulding creates space between the leather and the wall, giving the piece more depth and dimension. 

- Each banner is signed and dated on the back. Thick frames hang from one loop on the back and thin frames hang from a hanging wire. See photos.
