A blood red morsel emerges from the cracked pages of an ancient grimoire passed down through generations. Each practitioner had walked the poison path and poured centuries of knowledge into the magical family tome. Now resting open, the spell scribbled on its pages summons a sacred weapon— an object enticing and alluring but made lethal by the deadliest of poisons— the infamous and ominous Poison Apple. Datura, belladonna, and monkshood lend their fatal extracts to the working as a column of dark smoke rises from the crucible, writhing with the agonized screams of the apple’s past victims. Amidst the cacophony, the words of the spell carry on the wind and manifests the witch’s wicked will. As a phantom hand raises the fruit in offering, a raven familiar lets out a thunderous caw into the midnight air. Skin red as blood and flesh that’s crisp, the poison apple awaits. The summoning is complete.
